The loads are long, heavy, and awkward to handle. It takes 4-6 personnel to safely disassemble with the crane or move with forklifts and axles. Safety is very critical when handling these heavy, large loads. The biggest concern being operators not being able to see personnel during movements. We also have to consider the weight of the equipment and ensure it is evenly distributed so it does not shift.
At G&C Coatings, our largest booth is 25' W x 85' L which allows us to blast and apply our 3-coat system with minimal handling.
Catwalks are built with a very tight tolerance. While reassembling this structure we have to be very careful not to scratch the paint system. It is a complex project that our expert team handles with alot of mindfulness and attention to detail.
