Steel Shot Blasting Capabilities

Our state-of-the-art facility includes two steel shot abrasive blasting booths that are capable of blasting equipment with a range of dimensions - one booth measures 80' x 25' x 25', and our other booth measures 70' x 20' x 20'. Common applications that we address include:

• Corrosion removal. Steel shot blasting removes dirt, grime, rust, chemicals, scaling, and paint without damaging the underlying substrate.
• Surface preparation for painting and coating. Steel shot is an effective way to prep metal surfaces, since it helps coatings to bond and increases coating lifespan.
• Light etching of surfaces for coating preparation.
• Cleaning automotive components such as crankshafts, cylinder blocks, and transmission parts.
• Shot peening maintenance for aircraft components and aerospace equipment.
• Removing mill scale from ships and marine equipment.
• Improving skid resistance for concrete surfaces.
