The size and shape of this project made it very complex to deal with transporting and moving it around the facility. This was one of the largest vessels we have had in the booths in terms of size and weight.
Fireproofing epoxy coating was 200 mils thick giving the vessel saddles a longer life span under heat. In the event of a catastrophic failure, it gives personnel a longer time to evacuate and/or put out the fire.
Everything on this project had to be performed at height due to the size of the vessel. Our team was able to accomplish this while following all safety requirements and protocols.
The equipment we used to move this vessel was designed in-house. Utilizing dolly's, attachment equipment, axels and forklifts we were able to custom fit a system to safely transport it around the facility.
