Large Oily Water Separator Coated in Houston, TX

This was a sister build to the Horizontal Electrostatic Dehydrator. The biggest difference between the two projects was the size and weight. This oily water separator was painted after the horizontal electrostatic dehydrator. After tackling the larger vessel, we were able to mitigate the roadblocks and complete this industrial coatings package in a more efficient manner. By communicating between our team and customer, time and money were saved.

Coating Package Details:

• Fireproofing epoxy coating was 200 mils thick giving the vessel saddles a longer life span under heat.
• Everything on this project had to be performed at height due to the size of the vessel.
• The equipment we used to move this vessel was designed in-house.
