We applied a 3-coat system to this mud gas separator; painted per Pemex specs using inorganic zinc, epoxy, and polyurethane. This Mud Gas Separator was part of a rig package headed to Mexico along with 3 Mud Pumps to a new 2000HP land rig in the Pemex rig fleet.
There were no mechanical or rotating components so we were able to blast it with a steel shot. This helps improve our turnaround time and the overall cost of the project. We were able to complete this project tin 4 days.
